Located in José Ignacio, on the Anastasio lagoon in the Refugio del Hotel, Folk promises to become the new spot on the Uruguayan coast. For lovers of nature and good food, this project proposes an experience that is revolutionizing the concept of luxury around the world: ‘Glamping’. A new concept that combines the experience of camping outdoors with the elegance and comforts of the best hotels.

The complex consists of 5 fully equipped tents that offer a unique service. The stay includes all kinds of activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, hotel beach service and the benefits of the Spa.

With the help of two young globetrotters who love surfing and gastronomy, Gonzalo Sauma and Dolores Fernandez Parodi, the Argentine chef who was apprenticed to Mauro Colagreco, Folk is the new adventure that you cannot miss.

“We want everyone to have the possibility to live an experience like this, it is something that disconnects you from the everyday, it takes you to relax away from the madness of the city. There are no ages for this activity, you just have to have an attitude, encourage yourself to something different and let that adventurous spirit bloom”, says Gonzalo Sauma, anxious about the imminent opening of Folk.
